Alexis Desautel is currently a rising 2L at the Georgetown University Law Center, where she is an Opportunity Scholar, representative of the Women’s Legal Alliance, and a member of the Native American Law Students Association. Before law school, at Gonzaga University, she was an avid learner in the Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program and the founder of LEAP. Alexis spent a year as a Visiting Student at Oxford University studying Business Management and the Philosophy of Jurisprudence. This summer Alexis will work on a variety of communications issues at the FCC but is most interested in expanding broadband internet access in rural areas.
