Ari Givner is a rising 3L at the George Washington University Law School. He graduated cum laude from Brandeis University in 2017 with a degree in Politics and minors in Computer Science and Business. Between college and law school, he worked as a user experience designer at Cvent, the world’s leading event software company, and, at the same time, obtained a graduate certificate in Cybersecurity Risk Management from Georgetown University. While in law school, he has interned for the Office of Military Commission in the Department of Defense, the Data Privacy Office of the World Bank, and the Office of Justice for Victims of Overseas Terrorism at the Department of Justice. This summer, Ari will be working for the Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section at the Department of Justice, and then the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau at the Federal Communications Commission. At the FCC, Ari will be exploring cybersecurity and national security issues related to the US’s communications infrastructure and emerging technologies.
