Case Smith is a rising 2L at Harvard Law School. Case was born and raised in Culver City, California. His interest in communications and technology law began while at Arizona State University, where he graduated in 2019 with highest honors, majoring in Journalism with a minor in Public Service & Public Policy. At Harvard, he has continued to pursue these interests through his involvement with the Journal of Law and Technology, Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review, and Journal on Legislation. Case is Equal Democracy Project’s finance director and a deputy policy director, and he is a research assistant for Professor Rebecca Tushnet. Case is excited to pursue and further explore his interests this summer. He will be an intern with the Office of FCC Commissioner Geoffrey Starks.
