Dilshad Naher will be graduating from McKinley Tech High School and attending the University of Michigan. She plans on majoring in Electrical Engineering. Dilshad was part of the ACE Club during her sophomore and junior year. ACE is dedicated to mentoring high school youth interested in architecture, construction, and engineering. During her junior year summer, she was also a part of C-Tech^2, an engineering program only for girls, offered by Virginia Tech. Dilshad loved this program because she learned about different engineering majors and she was able to make connections with college students and professors, in addition to studying abroad in depth. She was also an intern for Optum, where she used leveraged design thinking frameworks and methodologies to solve real-world healthcare problems and researched end-users needed to solve real-world healthcare problems. She also helped PAL Dogs with online meetings as a volunteer.
