Jordyn Johnson is a rising 2L at The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC, where she serves as a Writing Fellow in GW Law’s Writing Center. She also serves as the Co-Director of Events for the Law Association for Women. She is a West Virginia native with a bachelor of science in journalism and a bachelor of multidisciplinary studies from West Virginia University. Before attending law school, Jordyn worked as a reporter at the Charleston Gazette-Mail in her hometown, covering local business, crime, and courts. Because of her journalism background, Jordyn is interested in pursuing a career working in communications, media, or intellectual property. She is looking forward to furthering her interests in those areas by interning at the Federal Communications Commission this summer and taking courses tailored toward those subjects during her next two years at GW Law.
