Shaina Adams will be graduating from Wilson High School in DC. Her interest in economics and business began through her participation in the school’s Hospitality and Tourism Academy. She enjoys learning Japanese and studied abroad in Japan for seven weeks when she was 15 years old. During high school, she worked with her peers and district administration to improve public schools with the MAP Committee and the Citywide Student Voice Council. Last summer Shaina interned with the World Bank and this summer she is interning with the Washington International Trade Association. She will be attending Harvard University with a concentration in Economics and East Asian studies.
