Shiva Sethi is a rising 2L at Georgetown University Law Center. Shiva was born and raised in New York City and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017 with a double major in Economics and Global Studies. Before law school, he interned at the U.S. State Department and later worked at an anti-poverty nonprofit organization where he conducted research and advocacy related to a broad range of issues including expanding access to telehealth in low-income communities to improve maternal health outcomes. This summer, Shiva will work in the office of FCC Commissioner Starks and he is particularly interested in working to close the digital divide.
