This session will focus on cybersecurity in satellite communications. The panel will discuss the unique challenges of cybersecurity in the space segment, and review legal and policy developments, including the designation of space as a critical infrastructure sector, the Office of the National Cyber Director’s 2024 space industry report, and NIST guidance.

2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Post-Quantum Cryptography
This session will discuss evolving regulatory and policy expectations around authentication and cryptography, including MFA capabilities and quantum-safe cryptography.
