POSTPONED – CLE Seminar: Supplementing Terrestrial Coverage from Space: Views from the FCC, International Regulators and the Industry

This CLE has been postponed.  The new date will be announced soon.

The FCBA International Committee will sponsor a CLE on Thursday, December 12, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ET entitled Supplementing Terrestrial Coverage from Space: Views from the FCC, International Regulators and the Industry. Where are we now and what to expect in the future?  This program will be held virtually via the Zoom platform.

The FCBA will apply for 2.0 hours of MCLE credit from the VA Bar.  This program has not yet been approved.

The panel will feature international regulators to provide information on their respective country’s approach to SCS. Topics will include status of their domestic regulations, potential roadblocks they foresee or are currently experiencing and their expectation from the ITU.

The panel will feature industry representatives to provide information on their respective approach to SCS. Topics will include differences between the SCS and MSS regulatory frameworks, status of their deployments, potential roadblocks they foresee or are currently experiencing.
