The FCBA Transactional Practice and the Young Lawyers Committees will sponsor a CLE on Thursday, January 19, 2023, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET entitled The Nuts and Bolts of Telecom and Media Transactions.  This program will be held virtually via the Zoom platform.

This CLE will include speakers with corporate and government experience in telecom and media transactions. The first panel will feature practitioners involved in transactions involving FCC-regulated businesses (media, wireline, earth stati
ons, etc.) and will provide an overview of what to expect when advising parties to mergers and acquisitions and other transactions. Speakers in the first panel will offer a roadmap for navigating regulatory issues arising in typical transactions. In the second panel, government representatives will provide an overview of the FCC’s transaction approval processes. They will also share tips and compliance considerations in transactions for different telecommunications and media services.
