The FCBA is pleased to announce that it will hold its Spring Reception on Wednesday, June 14 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the AT&T Forum, 601 New Jersey Avenue, NW, Washington, DC.
Ira Keltz has been selected to receive the FCBA’s 16th Annual FCBA Excellence in Government Service Award, which will be presented during the reception. Ira is Deputy Chief of the FCC’s Office of Engineering and Technology and is responsible for developing national spectrum policies, including allocating spectrum, setting technical and service rules for RF devices, and implementing procedures for equipment certification.
Mr. Keltz has totaled over 27 years at the FCC spanning two separate stints. He previously served as Chief of OET’s Electromagnetic Compatibility Division and Deputy Chief of OET’s Policy and Rules Division. Prior to serving in OET, Mr. Keltz held various positions in the Commission’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau.
Gold and Silver sponsorships of the reception are available for $800 and $500 and include registrations to the reception. In addition, sponsors will receive recognition for their support, including being listed in the FCBA newsletter, on the website and other social media outlets, and in emails. Individual tickets to the reception also may be purchased.
