Date/Time: Thursday, December 5, 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. ET
Topic: The Future of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT)
The vulnerability of U.S. PNT capability was recently brought into stark relief by a letter from the National Space-based Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Advisory Board (PNTAB), which warned that the U.S. is falling behind its global competitors in developing and deploying reliable, resilient, and secure Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs) and PNT alternatives. The prevalence of widespread RF jamming and spoofing of both military and commercial assets and the continued threat posed by anti-satellite weapons held by foreign adversaries like China and Russia further highlight the need for U.S. policymakers to explore ways to fortify domestic PNT capabilities that are critical for both civilian and military applications. This panel will the solutions and innovative technologies available to better promote the U.S. as a global leader in PNT system capabilities.
This event will be in person only. Lunch will not be provided, however, refreshments will be.
