With the Speakers Bureau, the FCBA maintains a broad list of potential speakers at all stages of their careers and with diverse backgrounds. The FCBA will use the list to offer opportunities for speakers to contribute their knowledge to CLEs, lunch and learns, and other events.

Midwest Chapter and Wellness Committee Lunch and Learn

Description: Join the FCBA’s Wellness Committee and Midwest Chapter for a free Lunch & Learn event titled “The Anniversary of the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.” The discussion will revolve around the importance of Mental Health Awareness and Crisis Intervention in the legal community and how the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline supports mental wellbeing.
Speakers:
Merry E. Wulff is an Attorney Advisor in the Federal Communications Commission Wireless Competition Bureau Competition Policy Division.
Juan Bacigalupi, Founder and President of The LegalMind Society. The LegalMind Society is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with the vision of offering peer support and mental health education to those in the legal community. Bacigalupi is a lawyer living with mental illness who believed there needed to be an organization that offered peer support to other lawyers living with mental illness.
Becky Stoll, the Senior Vice President of Crisis Services at Centerstone, a nonprofit health system specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatments. Stoll is responsible for leading both administrative and clinical operations for Centerstone’s multi-state footprint, including a crisis call center, a 988 crisis chat/text national back-up center, mobile crisis response teams, and crisis stabilization units.
